Each mirror is made from a single board and cut so that the grain runs all the way around the frame. They are assembled using finger joints. They look best when hung flush to the wall, so they have a french cleat - a beveled piece on the back of the mirror and its matched piece to nail to the wall. Click on pictures for more images. These mirrors are a unique combination of joinery and wood. The wooden nuts and bolts are fashioned from the same kind of wood as the live edge frame. This frame can be taken apart and put back together in a few minutes. The mirror image of the knotty grained wood plays with depth perception. They look best when hung flush to the wall, so they have a french cleat - a beveled piece on the back of the mirror and its matched piece to nail to the wall.

These coat racks were inspired by the beautiful details under the bark. We stripped the bark just after milling the boards. As soon as we saw the character under the bark, we knew we would incorporate it in some way. The racks hang flush to the wall with a french cleat.
